I’m sorry that you felt the need to self harm anon.
If I could, I would be over there and giving you a great big hug but I don’t know how to do that. So… cyber hugs will have to do for now, and maybe a couple of clips from the nicest place on the ‘net.
You’re right it’s a good step in the right direction to be honest with yourself. And, it’s good that you’re being open about it here.
Check out the resources in the previous answer and please know that you’re not alone in all this.
Are there any friends or family or trusted adults/peers you can talk openly about SI with? If not, can you simply talk to them about what’s causing you so much pain and distress?
Otherwise, please call hotlines or crisis lines to talk to others.
And, clean and take care of your wounds and be kind to yourself. You’re worth it.
