To the anon who dropped out b/c schooling was too stressful:
There are a number of options now so you can finish school on your own terms. A number of online high schools have been popping up, and if you’re in a sizable city, there are also adult ed and alternative ed programs for people who don’t mesh with regular school. It definitely isn’t for everyone. If you’re in the US, you have until age 21 to finish with your local public school system. You might want to start out by talking to someone who has a Special Ed certification b/c they can help with accommodations to make your schooling less of a pain in the arse for you. ;)
If it helps, college is about 99 million times easier than high school b/c you can control more of your schedule and the learning materials. But focus on getting a GED or diploma first. No sense in rushing ahead and making yourself feel bad.
Take your time and decompress b/c that’s obviously what you need, but don’t think that dropping out now is the end of the line.
